I was awarded as the best student in my high school back in 2005, behind my success i had always motivated myself with famous great quotes and inspirational books. I had created a poem back then and displayed it on my table covered with transparent wrap just so i could keep staring at such energy booster words. It was a poem which i adapted from a wise talented girl named Nurhasmiziana bt Md. Isa . Thanks to her. I made it. Hence this is the poem which has been altered slightly to my own liking ;)
Now is The Time
My memory keeps glowing in here,
My school, oh my dear school,
Such a great time that I spent in here.
Day by day I thought,
Month by month I step,
And year by year keeps running away from me,
But I want to keep 2004 pride alive,
Why ? Why ? Why ?
Because I have great friends,
Because I'll have my major exam, SPM,
Because I have to make a big decision,
Because I have to decide as best as I could for my future,
And because I have to say goodbye to school.
5 years I've been here,
Many changes happen in front of my eyes,
And it makes my school great,
Well then, my school keeps changing,
But why can't you and I change?
Why are we still the same ?
I trust my heart, I can do it,
I can fight it,
I can change my destiny before it's too late.
So I will go for it,
I will never give up,
I will raise my spirit,
I will stand tough,
To become among the successful SPM candidates in the year 2004.
We, all the form 5 students can do it,
We must get up,
Rise and fight for the victory,
So we can be winners again.
There, if our school can do it,
We can do it,
I can do it,
It's true,
It's REAL !
